Systemic constellations -
unlocking insights at speed

Here’s how we help

Constellations

At Thompson Harrison we work with leaders facing complexity – complexity in their organisations and in the broader ecosystem. In this vastly expanded strategic landscape, constellations work is a powerful tool for solving business problems.

Tapping into different and unexpected modes of thinking, the technique surfaces hidden patterns in organisational systems—delivering deep, actionable insights in a matter of hours.

Our Constellations at Work methodology offers you a powerful, human-centred way to make those dynamics visible—and actionable.

What is ‘Constellations at Work’?

Six diverse professionals standing and conversing in a bright, open space with wooden floors.

Our experienced facilitators use an experiential approach that helps leaders and teams explore complex organisational challenges.

Rather than intellectualising a problem, participants step into it. They use physical space to show how key stakeholders, teams, or forces such as customers, or the market impact performance and strategic direction.

As the system becomes visible, patterns quickly emerge: misalignments, tensions, missing perspectives, and untapped possibilities. The result is often clarity that feels immediate, shared, and deeply grounded in reality and that can be actioned in a practical way almost immediately.

Our performance focused approach

Our constellations draw on forms of intelligence that are typically underused in leadership settings:

Why now?

“This doesn’t replace running the numbers—but when you’re facing the unknown, it invites different perspectives into the room.”

In a world increasingly shaped by automation and artificial intelligence, constellation work activates something uniquely human: our capacity to sense, relate, and understand systems as living realities.

As one senior leader put it: “This doesn’t replace running the numbers—but when you’re facing the unknown, it invites different perspectives into the room.”

Constellations at Work gives teams permission to re-examine organisational problems in a different way – allowing different and unexpected solutions to emerge.

How It Works

Grounded, not esoteric:

We position constellation work as a practical leadership tool, integrated with commercial and strategic thinking.

Expert facilitation:

Psychological safety is central. Our facilitators are highly experienced in working with senior leaders and complex systems.

Insight into action:

Every session concludes with clear implications and next steps—so insight translates into impact.

Complementary by design:

This work enhances, rather than replaces, analytical and data-driven approaches.
