Transformational Storytelling
Our approach
On the campus of Berkeley in California we brought together storytellers of the past, present and future from innovators and AI academics, First Nation speakers and those who are expert in the craft of storytelling. The retreat provided the chance for a global team to come together to think, enjoy one another’s company and take steps towards new ways of working.
Leveraging a stimulating setting
We took advantage of the stimulating environment at Berkeley to draw on the intellectual resources of the University and the delights of the campus.
Connecting and collaborating
The programme was designed as a retreat so the social side of connecting for a far-flung senior team was as important as the exposure to new ideas and practices.
We co designed with the sponsors who were involved throughout and provided a valuable sounding board for our design thinking.
Provocation and learning
The delivery and format was varied through the retreat – from workshops and discussions, walks, to intimate dinners and the chance for reflection.
Your efforts in securing excellent external speakers, skilfully coordinating events and fostering insightful discussions were invaluable.”

Our insights
The walks through the campus provided valuable synchronous time for team members to connect. The setting worked with the grain of the learning and amplified it.
“Our close partnership with the sponsors helped us to design in a bespoke and relevant way throughout.”
