Sam Rockey

Samantha is the co-founder and Director of London based Leadership and Organisation Development Consultancy, Thompson Harrison.


She began her career in the first democratically-elected government in South Africa in the arenas of development policy, strategy and change. More recently, she was the Global Head of Leadership Development for the FTSE top 10 company SABMiller, now part of AB InBev.


Samantha is an Associate Fellow at Oxford Said Business School and is a Programme Director, tutor and faculty. She has worked on the Oxford Strategic Leadership Programme for a number of years as well as working on programmes for the Young Presidents Organisation and the Economics of Mutuality. Samantha has been on the Imperial College Business School Advisory Board for their Global Online MBA and on the Advisory Board of the Baobab Network, a start-up business focused on Sub-Saharan Africa.


Samantha is co-author of the book 'The Social Brain: The Psychology of Successful Groups’ along with Prof. Robin Dunbar (the 'Dunbar number') and Tracey Camilleri. Samantha has MSc in Development Planning and a MM in Human Resources.
